Libya & UK Review Bolstering Investments in Hydrocarbons

Libya’s Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, discussed with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, prospects for bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

The meeting addressed the possibility of major British companies contributing to supporting Libya’s oil and gas sector through investment, knowledge transfer, and the development of modern technologies in exploration and production.

Abdul Sadiq reviewed the ministry’s efforts to create an attractive working environment for investors and to open the door for strategic partnerships that would help develop the sector and enhance its production capacity.
