Iranian Petchem Co. Localizes 12,000 Parts

Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company has successfully localized manufacturing of 12,000 items and parts as well as 2,350 mechanics of fluids besides inking 8 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with knowledge-based companies.

According to the press conference of the third conference and exhibition of domestic manufacturing in the petrochemical industry, Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company, while identifying the needs of the production line and with pre-determined planning in order to use the potential of domestic experts and companies, has signed eight memorandums with knowledge-based companies to localize manufacturing of key items and parts.

Hamidreza Rostami, the managing director of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company, stated at the signing ceremony of these memorandums: “Out of 125,000 items, 42,000 items can be built domestically, of which 12,000 parts have been manufactured using the capacity of the country's experts and elites. In addition, 2,350 fluid mechanics have also been indigenized.”

The CEO of Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company added: "These MoUs, worth €7 million, have been signed to support domestic production in various sectors such as chemicals, spare parts and equipment." - Shana
