Output of Iranian Petchem MTBE Unit Exceeds Nominal Capacity

Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company, with its efforts in Kimia Complex, succeeded in achieving maximum production for the second year in a row in its MTBE unit.

According to Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company, Bandar Imam Kimia Complex, in line with the strategy announced by Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company to tap all domestic potentialities, succeeded in maximizing productivity of the unit without any dependence on foreign countries.

The company managed to do this for the second time in a row. MTBE is one of the constituents of gasoline and octane enhancer for lead compounds, which has replaced lead compounds to save the environment and protect it and reduce emissions. - Shana
