Cabinet Reviews Rebuilding of Iran's War-Damaged Oil, Gas Facilities

Iran's Cabinet reviewed the latest steps to rebuild refineries and oil and gas facilities damaged in the third imposed war, particularly in the South Pars region. The meeting, chaired by President Masoud Pezeshkian, heard a report on the measures taken to restore facilities across the country, the president's office said.

Officials stressed the need to speed up reconstruction, coordinate among responsible agencies and keep up consistent follow-through on projects. The Cabinet decided that progress reports on the rebuilding will be submitted to it weekly so it can continually monitor the work, the pace of progress and the requirements for carrying it out. - Shana
