9th Bahrain–Oman Products Exhibition Held in Salalah

The ninth edition of the Bahrain–Oman Products Exhibition opened in Salalah, Oman, organised by the Bahrain Embassy in Oman, in co-operation with the Oman–Bahrain Friendship Association. The exhibition featured around 30 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from both countries and ran until August 8.

The exhibition was inaugurated under the patronage of the spouse of Dhofar Governor Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, in the presence of Bahraini Ambassador to Oman, Dr Jumaa bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Oman–Bahrain Friendship Association Chairperson Rudaina bint Amer Al Hajri, along with officials, civil society representatives, and members of the Bahraini and Omani communities.

Al Kaabi highlighted the close ties between Bahrain and Oman, supported by the leadership of both countries, and noted the steady growth in bilateral co-operation, particularly in trade, entrepreneurship, and SME partnerships. He said the exhibition reflected the importance of the SME sector in driving economic growth and diversification and serveed as a practical outcome of the Bahrain–Oman Joint Committee’s work to advance economic integration.

Al Hajri emphasised the exhibition’s role in strengthening partnerships between SMEs in both countries. She noted that exhibitors were to showcase a diverse range of products, including fashion, perfumes, traditional handicrafts, and household items, adding that the event was the first in a series of joint initiatives planned this year to expand bilateral co-operation.

The exhibition aimed to support SMEs by expanding market opportunities, encouraging business partnerships and knowledge exchange, and showcasing the cultural and artisanal heritage of Bahrain and Oman.
