Iraq sold about 42 million barrels of oil in July, including 35.5 million barrels from southern ports and 7 million from Turkey's Ceyhan terminal, the director general of Iraq's state oil marketer SOMO, Ali Nizar Al-Shatari told Dijlah TV.* The tariff for transporting crude oil through Turkey under the recently signed one-year agreement between the two countries is US$1.62 per barrel, according to Al-Shatari.* The tariff covers the operation and maintenance of the pipeline by Turkey's state energy company BOTAS, Al-Shatari said.
