Nama Signs Power Purchase Deal with Petroleum Development Oman

Nama Power and Water Procurement has announced that it has signed a new power purchase agreement with Petroleum Development Oman, marking another strategic partnership that reinforces the sultanate’s electricity sector and strengthens energy security.

Under the agreement, up to 200 MW of generation capacity will be made available to support the national electricity grid for a period of five years, thus enhancing the reliability and sustainability of electricity supplies while meeting the growing demand for power.
