Libya's Akakus Oil Hits Highest Daily Production since 2014

Akakus Oil Operations Company has achieved its highest daily crude oil production since 2014, reaching 332,056 barrels per day in July 2026.

The company attributed the milestone to the efforts of its national workforce, ongoing well drilling and tie-in programs, and improvements in operational efficiency, which increased production capacity, enhanced operational reliability, and helped meet its production targets.

Akakus said the achievement reflects its continued commitment to developing its operations and strengthening efficiency through the expertise of its national staff and the coordinated efforts of its operational, technical, and support teams.
