Report on Iraqi Drilling Co. Activities in 2025

The Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) completed drilling and rehabilitation work on 237 oil wells during 2025, supporting production programmes across oilfields from northern to southern Iraq.

The achievements included the drilling of 62 new oil wells and the rehabilitation of 175 existing wells, carried out in line with approved technical programmes and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

The work was delivered by the company's engineering and technical teams in coordination with national and international oil companies. The projects form part of broader efforts to enhance operational capacity and support plans to increase and sustain oil production.

The company said it remains focused on developing its technical performance and strengthening its role in supporting the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Oil.
