Iran began offering imported premium gasoline in Tehran on Thursday, according to a statement from the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company. The company said the move is based on the national budget laws for fiscal years 1403 and 1404 approved by Parliament, as well as cabinet decisions authorizing the supply and distribution of imported premium gasoline.According to the statement, the authorized distributor is operating under the brand name Petro Iranian Pak under the brand name "Petran" that holds the required license from the NIOPDC. Concurrent with the distribution of premium gasoline via five mobile fuel tanker trucks in Tehran, Sa'adatabad gas station NO. 281 started the sale of the imported premium gasoline to customers.Quantity and quality controls during the distribution process will be carried out under the responsibility of the distributor and by qualified companies approved by the National Standards Organization of Iran and contracted by the distributor.The mobile tanker trucks participating in the plan can be identified by their green body color and an “E+95” label.All companies that have obtained import and distribution licenses in line with the approved guidelines are expected to expand premium gasoline supply points across Tehran and other cities nationwide. The company said further details will be announced in additional statements as the number of distributors and participating supply locations increases. - Shana
