A delegation from the Saudi Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, or Monshaat, continued its five-day tour of Silicon Valley in California, the US. The delegation includes six fast-growing Saudi companies from diverse sectors, part of the authority’s initiative to support potential billion-dollar enterprises and enable their international expansion.On the second day of the tour, Monshaat organized three panel discussions and workshops covering topics such as venture capital expansion opportunities, readiness for initial public offerings, and the challenges and prospects facing the broader startup ecosystem.The sessions featured leading venture capital investors, advisers, and experts including Zamir Shukho, CEO and general partner at Vibranium VC; Rahul Varshneya, private wealth adviser at Morgan Stanley; and Roja Amrollah, senior vice president at Plug and Play Tech Center.Monshaat’s organization of such tours helps Saudi entrepreneurs access global networks of investors and experts, directly supporting the growth and sustainability of Saudi startups. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives to strengthen the knowledge-based economy and enhance the global presence of national companies.
