The Libyan Business Council (LBC) hosted the Italian Consul and the Italian Commercial Attaché today in an open meeting held at the LBC’s headquarters in Tripoli. The meeting included a presentation on the Italian residency and investment programme and the opportunities it offers.During the meeting, the Consul provided a detailed explanation of the programme’s components, advantages, and how to benefit from it. Discussions were also held with LBC members regarding visa issuance procedures and the facilities available to members, reflecting the existing level of cooperation and mutual trust between the two sides. The dialogue focused on practical aspects and avenues for investment and trade exchange between business owners from both countries. This included the procedures for residency and establishment of companies, and the nature of projects and laws regulating economic and trade relations between the two countries.It is worth noting that a delegation from the LBC will travel to Italy next month to discuss several issues of mutual interest to the private sector.
