Direct Flights Resumed from Bushehr to Kuwait

The Iranian Embassy in Kuwait announced that direct flights from Lamerd, Bushehr Province, to Kuwait will commence this week. The embassy stated on X (formerly Twitter) that, in addition to the existing routes from Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, and Ahvaz operated by Iranian and Kuwaiti airlines, Ata Airlines will operate weekly direct flights from Lamerd to Kuwait starting October 28 on Tuesdays.

Previously, it was reported that Austrian Airlines will also resume its direct air connection between Vienna and Tehran starting November 2, 2025. The return of Austrian Airlines’ direct flights to Iran marks a significant step in strengthening economic and tourism ties between Iran and the European Union. These flights will not only facilitate travel for businesspeople and tourists but also play an important role in promoting cultural and academic cooperation between the two countries. - Kayhan
