Norway's DNO ASA has reported net production of 56,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) in the second quarter of 2025, out of a company total of 92,600 boepd.Gross production was ramped up on a test basis to 55,000 boepd, split roughly evenly between the Tawke and Peshkabir fields. The company is targeting a return to pre-Iraq-Türkiye Pipeline (ITP) shutdown levels of 100,000 boepd through further drilling. In mid-July, explosive drone strikes hit facilities at the Tawke licence (DNO 75 percent and operator), damaging surface processing equipment at Peshkabir and an oil storage tank at Tawke. No injuries were reported.Revenues from Kurdistan have continued through local oil sales during the ongoing pipeline closure. DNO said it is sustaining operations through intervention measures while planning for longer-term repairs.
