Successful Implementation of Iraq Telecom Transit Route

Kalaam Telecom Group has announced the successful completion of the first year of operations of its Iraq Transit route, launched in partnership with Iraq's Informatics & Telecommunication Public Company (ITPC).

It says the terrestrial route has become a vital alternative for data traffic between the GCC and Europe, delivering multi-terabit capacity with low latency, enhanced resiliency, and high security. It has been widely adopted by banks, government agencies, foreign ministries, and live sporting event platforms where uptime and security are critical.

Subsidiary Zajil Telecom's landing licence in Kuwait, secured with CITRA, allows the system to bypass common choke-points in the Red Sea, providing a fully diverse and redundant path with consistent performance.
