Espace Engineering Consultants (EEC) held a formal signing ceremony with UK-based firm Formation Architects on July 3 at the British Omani Society (BOS), as part of the Trade and Business Event in London, UK.This event marked a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between the two firms, aimed at contributing to the evolution of Oman’s urban and architectural landscape.The collaboration brought together EEC’s deep local insight and Formation’s international design expertise, creating a platform for future projects that prioritise contextual relevance, design excellence, and sustainable development.“This partnership is about aligning local ambition with international standards to deliver projects that are both visionary and grounded in Omani values,” said Mohamed al Khonji, Managing Director of Espace Engineering Consultants.Formation Architects was represented at the ceremony by Director and Trustee Tim Quick and Senior Architect Shantanu Bhatt, who emphasised their commitment to meaningful collaboration and long-term engagement in Oman.The ceremony builds on the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year and follows a series of discussions with key stakeholders in Oman.Espace Engineering Consultants (EEC) is an Omani consultancy firm providing architectural and engineering solutions across government, commercial and infrastructure sectors.The firm was founded by Soumitra Chatterjee, a distinguished architect with over 30 years of experience in Oman.
