Rixos Hotels Discusses Development in Iraq

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met on Thursday with Mr. Fettah Tamince, Chairman of Turkiye's Rixos Hotels Group, to discuss the growing investment opportunities in Iraq's tourism sector.

Prime Minister Al-Sudani stressed that ongoing development efforts across various sectors have laid the groundwork for numerous investment opportunities, particularly in tourism. He reiterated the government's commitment to enhancing the tourism industry through key reforms aimed at fostering an attractive and secure investment environment.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the government's focus on infrastructure improvements in Baghdad and other provinces, aimed at preparing Iraq to attract global tourism and hospitality companies.

Mr. Tamince presented an update on the activities of Rixos Hotels in Iraq, as well as its operations in 22 countries. He mentioned that Iraq's investment climate has garnered significant attention from top executives of international tourism and hospitality companies, who are eager to launch projects in the country.
