Gas Injection Completed for Iran's Minab-Sirik Pipeline

The caretaker of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company announced the injection of gas into the 90-120 kilometer section of the 42-inch Minab-Sirik gas pipeline.

Behnam Mirzaei stated that gas injection into the initial 90 kilometers of the Minab-Sirik pipeline had previously been completed in August 2024. He added that the entire 120-kilometer pipeline is now gas-filled and ready for operation.

Mirzaei highlighted that the implementation of the Minab-Sirik gas pipeline will provide gas to cities, villages, and industries in Minab, Sirik, the Garuk industrial zone, and the Kuhastak power plant.

According to the acting head, an 80-kilometer gas transmission pipeline from Sirik to Kuh-Mobarak is also under construction as part of the same project, with gas injection and operation expected to begin next year. - Shana
