Libya & Algeria Discuss Reopening of Dabdab Border Crossing

The Interior Minister, Imad Al-Trabelsi, has held talks with his Algerian counterpart, Ibrahim Murad, over the potential reopening of the Dabdab land border crossing between the two countries.

The discussions aimed at establishing a framework that supports mutual economic and security interests.

The meeting took place during the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, held in Tunis on Sunday.

According to Libya’s Ministry of Interior, the talks also focused on strengthening security cooperation, particularly in tackling organized crime, illegal migration, and border security.
