Mohammadreza Aref, Iran’s first vice president, attended a meeting of the council of deputies at the Ministry of Oil on Saturday. The meeting addressed the latest status of the country’s oil and gas production, winter fuel supply, and measures by the Ministry of Oil to reduce energy imbalance.This marks Aref’s second visit to the ministry since the start of the 14th administration. He previously attended a ceremony honoring the outgoing and introducing the incoming oil ministers. During his earlier meeting, Aref highlighted the ministry’s key advantages, stating, “The Ministry of Oil’s absolute advantages lie in its skilled and outstanding human resources and vast oil and gas reserves. Utilizing this human capital and distinguished, dedicated scientific figures is a top priority for the ministry.
