Libya & Syria Review Ties

Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid al-Lafi, has held a phone call with Syrian Foreign Minister Assad al-Shibani to discuss enhancing bilateral relations.

According to the "Hakomatna" platform, al-Lafi delivered a message from Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah reaffirming Libya's support for the Syrian people and government.

The two officials discussed exchanging delegations to boost cooperation across various fields and stressed the importance of coordination on regional issues to serve mutual interests and ensure stability.

Minister al-Shibani expressed Syria’s appreciation for Libya's support and emphasized the strong historical ties between the two nations, voicing eagerness to strengthen collaboration.
