Belarus Strengthens Ties with Iraq

The Belarusian Ambassador to Turkey and Iraq, Viktar Rybak, met with Iraqi officials on Sunday to enhance cooperation in key sectors.

Discussions with Interior Minister A. Al-Shammari focused on collaboration between specialized agencies, legal frameworks, and experience sharing.

In talks with Higher Education Minister Naeem Al-Aboudi, the two sides explored opportunities for academic partnerships, professional training, and fostering connections between educational institutions.

Additionally, a meeting with Youth and Sports Minister Ahmed Al-Mubarka led to agreements on training Iraqi athletes and utilizing Belarusian sports facilities.

Ambassador Rybak invited Iraqi officials to Belarus for further dialogue, emphasizing the commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
