The Sonelgaz Group announced on Saturday that it has exported electrical equipment to Iraq, highlighting its achievement in revitalizing local and international commercial partnerships.This operation involves the export of a gas turbine generator of types “H53” and “H50” with a power output of 300 megawatts, along with associated accessories, to the Iraqi company “Taurus Arm For Power Generation, Oil Trading, and Transportation Ltd,” according to the Sonelgaz statement.This operation is part of the country’s strategic goals to gradually reduce dependence on hydrocarbons by diversifying economic and commercial activities and enhancing national products, the statement added.Sonelgaz emphasized its commitment to continuing strategic programs aimed at increasing the value of its exports and supporting the national integration rate.According to the statement, the Group has successfully revived significant commercial partnerships both locally and internationally “in record time,” demonstrating “its economic effectiveness in implementing the directives of the country’s high authorities.”These activities also confirm “the group’s substantial contribution to boosting the value chain in the energy sector, achieving growth and prosperity,” in addition to “supporting the national development momentum in line with the economic vision adopted by the country’s high authorities,” the statement concludes.
