An exhibition of the achievements of Iran’s petrochemical industry started in Tehran on 4 August 2024 on the sidelines of the 15th Iran International Petrochemical Forum (IPF).
It will be organized with the participation of petrochemical experts, activists and researchers from different parts of the world.

In this year’s exhibition, which is held with the slogan "Clean Technology", topics such as carbon management in the petrochemical industry, completion of the value chain, investment and financing, management of the supply and consumption of water and electricity in the industry, and the supply chain and logistics for the procurement of goods and equipment will be discussed in specialized panels with the participation of experts and activists of this industry.

The activists of the petrochemical industry will showcase their latest achievements and capacities in the 15th edition of the Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF).

With a nominal production capacity of about 100 million tons of petrochemicals annually, Iran’s petrochemical industry is currently one of the largest and most important industries in the country and the region.

Currently, Iran exports its petrochemicals to various parts of the world.

In addition to meeting domestic demands, Iran’s petrochemical industry has earned between US$12 billion and US$16 billion annually in foreign exchange for the country in recent years.

According to the available information, Iran exported more than US$3 billion of petrochemicals overseas in the first three months of the current Iran calendar year (March 21 to June 22, 2024), the report added.
