Iraqi PM Discusses Cooperation with New Turkish Ambassador

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani met with Anil Bora Inan, the new Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, on Monday, welcoming him and wishing him success in his duties.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and implementing agreements made during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Baghdad last April, which resulted in a framework cooperation agreement and over twenty memoranda of understanding across various sectors.

Additionally, they discussed the rapid execution of the strategic Development Road project and water management agreements.

The discussion also covered joint security coordination measures in border areas to ensure Iraq's sovereignty and prevent any violations.
