Libyan PM Calls for Deeper China Ties

In an exclusive interview with China Media Group (CMG) in Beijing on Thursday, Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah shared his expectations about this trip to China and the results he hoped to achieve. "China has been objective and impartial in providing support, favoring no particular faction. It is for these positive reasons that we are here, hoping to deepen Libya's relationship with China and that of the Arab states with China," said Dbeibah.

Dbeibah said that he is pursuing peaceful development, independence and regional stability through wisdom rather than military strength. He also emphasized the importance of China's experience. "We cannot overlook China's crucial role in promoting the technological and economic development of Arab states," he said.
