Oman Data Park (ODP) and ITHCA Group launched Jabreen Smart Infrastructure Solutions on Monday, marking the debut of the sultanate’s largest cloud system with a new identity.The launch ceremony, held under the patronage of H E Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal bin Khalifa al-Alawi, President of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Institution, introduced Jabreen Smart Infrastructure Solutions aiming to offer various integrated cloud solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, and cybersecurity solutions to the Omani market.This phase follows ITHCA Group’s initial investment in attracting advanced cloud services from Oracle, paving the way for the Jabreen Project’s second phase, which aims to provide an advanced package of cloud solutions. By launching the second phase, the company aims to set new standards for data and cybersecurity solutions.Jabreen Smart Infrastructure Solutions, with its renewed identity, offers integrated technical solutions in accordance with international standards. It aims to strengthen cloud systems in government entities and private sector companies and establishments in Oman. Additionally, it will play a vital role in data preservation and cost reduction by transitioning from capital costs to operational costs while advancing towards AI.Moreover, Jabreen Smart Infrastructure Solutions will contribute to accelerating digital transformation amidst the region’s evolving landscape. It will bolster the provision of advanced systems utilising AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity solutions to serve government entities, banks, and companies professionally.Furthermore, it will provide services related to data and information analysis, along with advanced solutions to help various sectors contribute to business growth more dynamically.In a press statement, Maqbool al Wahaibi, CEO of Oman Data Park, said, “The new Jabreen Smart Infrastructure Solutions will cater to various government entities, the private sector, oil and gas sector, and banks, through direct cooperation between Oman Data Park and ITHCA Group, supplying the market with these advanced systems.”He added, “This system will effectively enhance internal data storage and reduce costs by transitioning from capital to operational costs, thus accelerating the digital transformation process in the country.”Wahaibi emphasised Oman Data Park’s attention to SMEs and technology companies operating in the sultanate.
