Libyan Rolling Plant for Iron Bars Expands Production with British Specifications

The Rolling Factory for iron bars of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company has announced the expansion of production in different sizes to meet market needs and foreign market requirements, in accordance with British specifications (BS4449).

The company explained in a post on its Facebook page that the Rolling Factory 2 worked on changing and preparing the rolling line, so that it could produce 12 mm steel, according to the required type and specifications and it is expected to produce sizes (8-10-16-20 mm) in the coming days.

The Libyan Iron and Steel Company pointed to its previous achievement of producing more than 10,000 tons of 14 mm iron with technical specifications, according to the type (B500B), with a quality exceeding 99%.
