Airport Projects Put into Operation in Iran

Airport projects worth IRR 1.5 trillion (US$2.7 million) were inaugurated in a ceremony on Tuesday.

The ceremony, held on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, was attended by senior officials including Transport Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash and Head of Civil Aviation Organization Mohammad Mohammadi-Bakhsh.

Stating that the biggest components of the aviation industry are safety and security, the head of the Civil Aviation Organization added: “These two components are clearly defined and being operated in all areas of the aviation industry without the slightest dependency.” - Tehran Times
