Rise in Price of Kuwaiti Oil

The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel rose US$2.79 to reach US$77.17 per barrel on Thursday compared with US$74.38 per barrel on Wednesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Friday. In international markets, the Brent crude oil future contracts rose US$2.35 to reach US$76.61 per barrel, while identical deals of the West Texas Intermediate crude went up US$2.11 to stand at US$71.58 a barrel.
