Council of Ministers Adopts Algeria’s Budget Settlement Bill for 2021

The Council of Ministers met Tuesday under the chairmanship of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, adopted the budget settlement bill for the fiscal year 2021.

Following the adoption of the bill, the president of the Republic "welcomed the positive figures achieved and the preservation of macro-financial balances, despite the Covid-19 pandemic related crisis that hit the largest global economies," the Council of Ministers said in a statement.

The president of Republic also ordered "to continue the preservation of Algeria's main guidelines, by strengthening its capacity to prevent resorting to foreign debt," the statement concluded.
