The secretary of Iran’s Free Zones High Council said several programs are being pursued by the council for promoting employment in free zones and providing better conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).“While we encourage small businesses to execute their projects, we are also following programs for improving employment in these areas by providing conditions for small businesses,” Hojatollah Abdolmaleki told IRIB.According to Abdolmaleki, more than 100,000 small businesses and 2,500 medium-sized enterprises have expressed readiness to invest in the country’s free zones and the Free Zones High Council is determined to completely support them. - Tehran Times
