Iranian Govt. to Give Incentives to Tackle Gas Imbalance

The cabinet approved incentives for investment in the gas industry with the aim of removing gas imbalance, said Iran’s government spokesman on Wednesday. Ali Bahadori-Jahromi made the announcement in his talks with reporters on the sidelines of the weekly cabinet session. The administration has decided to take some decisions to meet the peak demand for natural gas in winter, he added. According to the spokesman, incentives will be offered to investors who fund various projects in facilities, production increase, and efficiency improvement sectors. - Shana
