Iran Seeking to Boost Banking Coop. with Sri Lanka, Pakistan


On the sidelines of the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Marrakech, Morocco, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), met and held talks with the governors of the central banks of Pakistan and Sri Lanka and emphasized the development of bilateral and multilateral monetary and banking cooperation.

“The increase of monetary and banking relations and consequently the growth and strengthening of commercial and economic cooperation with Pakistan and Sri Lanka are on the agenda of the parties,” Mohammad-Reza Farzin said, after holding separate meetings with his counterparts. - Tehran Times
