Iran's Energy Ministry Launches Specialized Technology Park

Iran's Energy Ministry has launched a specialized technology park to help develop knowledge-based activities at Iran's water and energy sector. The Niroo Science and Technology Park (NSTP) was launched on Tuesday, according to head of Energy Ministry's research department Majid Amidpour.

Amidpour said in a press conference that some 1,700 knowledge-based companies are working in Iran's water and energy industry, adding that the NSTP will provide research and financial support to those knowledge-based enterprises and will help them market their products. He said the NSTP can respond to demand for modern technologies in the Iranian energy sector. - IRNA
