NOC Chairman, Farhat Ben Gdara announced a new graduate training program that will initially train 7,000 graduates from more than 51 cities in Libya in key energy sector knowledge and employability skills. The objective of the program is to invest in the next generation of talent, which is crucial to the long-term, sustainable development of the energy sector.The announcement was made during a special ceremony held in Benghazi. The event was attended by NOC board members, directors and general managers, and some of the first graduates to enter the program.The program is a key pillar of the NOC’s long-term strategy and is operated by the Strategic Programs Office (SPO). At the launch ceremony, the Director of the SPO, Dr. Omran Bukres, confirmed that the program will provide graduates with all the necessary knowledge to succeed in the oil and gas sector.
