Iran, Vietnam Sign MoU on Fighting Cybercrimes, Drug-Trafficking


Iran and Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on fighting organized cybercrimes and drug-trafficking. The document was signed during a meeting between Iran’s Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi and visiting Vietnamese Minister of Public Security, General To Lam, in Tehran on Saturday.

In a press conference after the meeting, Vahidi said that the purpose of Vietnamese minister’s visit to Iran is to develop and strengthen bilateral ties. He also said that both sides discussed economic, political, scientific and security issues. Referring to the cooperation document signed between the two countries, the Iranian official said that Tehran envisages a better future for relations with Hanoi. - Iran Daily
