Iran Caspian Airlines to Operate New Tabriz-Najaf Flights

New flights between the city of Tabriz, located in northwest Iran, and Najaf in Iraq have been scheduled by Caspian Airlines, according to the director general of East Azarbaijan Airports Organization. The flights arrive at Tabriz International Airport at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesdays and depart for Al-Najaf International Airport after an hour.

“Tabriz-Najaf flights are already operated by Iran Air Tour on Thursdays,” Ramin Azari was also quoted as saying by the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development. Najaf is a city in central Iraq about 160 km south of Baghdad. It is one of the holiest cities of Shia Islam and one of its spiritual capitals. Tabriz is the capital city of East Azarbaijan Province. - Financial Tribune
