Bell Geospace, a leading provider of full tensor gravity gradiometry data, and Saudi Geophysical, consultants and geophysical service providers, will announce a new agency relationship officially at MEOS GEO 2023 in Bahrain. MEOS GEO 2023 will be held at Exhibition World Bahrain from February 19 to 21.The relationship will facilitate future airborne full tensor gravity gradiometry (FTG) exploration programs in Saudi Arabia, via expedited permits and the provision of a local service from project conception through to data delivery and application. It is reported that Saudi Arabia’s next steps of economic growth will come from sustained oil activity and an expansion of the non-oil sector such as mining and minerals. ‘’Saudi Arabia is currently undergoing a massive transformation. Saudi Geophysical wants to be ready by creating these critical partnerships. Geophysical exploration plays an important role. By adding the key technology of Bell Geospace airborne exploration to our existing suite of geophysical techniques, we are well placed to serve our local market with the right method at the right time, based on our client’s objectives,” said Sean Siegfried, CEO at Saudi Geophysical.Bell Geospace delivers airborne full tensor gravity gradiometry and magnetic data for geological and structural mapping. The data locate density contrasts related to subsurface geological architecture for energy, mineralization zones, geothermal resources, or potential Carbon Capture sites. “Airborne FTG data acquisition is an efficient and cost-effective way to collect meaningful data, very fast,’’ said John Macfarlane, Executive VP at Bell Geospace. ‘’Working with Saudi Geophysical brings the value of Bell Geospace data directly to Saudi Arabia. We are looking forward to starting our first survey in coming months.’’ Bell Geospace will exhibit with Saudi Geophysical at MEOS GEO 2023 in Bahrain at booth C-50.
