Iran-Oman Trade to Hit US$2 billion in Year to March

Iran’s Ambassador to Oman Ali Najafi says that cooperation between the two countries is on a growing path as he expects that bilateral trade ties could reach a record figure of US$2 billion in the year to March. Najafi said late on Sunday that the Islamic Republic has extended a hand of friendship to all of its neighbors based on a policy to strengthen ties with regional countries.
The ambassador made the remarks at a ceremony to commemorate the 44th anniversary of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution. Senior government officials, including Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, attended the ceremony held in the Omani capital Muscat. - IRNA
