Tajikistan’s Somon Air to Establish Flights to Tehran

The Somon Air company has declared that the Tajik airline intends to set up flights to the Iranian capital Tehran. According to Tajikistan’s media outlets, it is expected that the first flight from Dushanbe to Tehran to be carried out on January 31. The flights are going to be held from Dushanbe at 17:30 local time and from Tehran at 20:20 local time. The flights are going to be held once a week on Fridays. The flights will take 2 hours and 50 minutes from Dushanbe to Tehran and 2 hours and 20 minutes from Tehran to Dushanbe. Somon Air is a private airline in Tajikistan headquartered in Dushanbe and based at Dushanbe International Airport. The airline kicked off its operation in 2008 and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Somon Air plans to expand its flight network, which is available now from Tajikistan to Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, India, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. - IRNA
