Algerian President Encourages Fishing Vessel Manufacturers to Raise Production Rates

President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired Sunday a meeting of the Council of Ministers during which he gave instructions to encourage companies manufacturing fishing vessels to increase production rates, according to the Council of Ministers.

Regarding the roadmap of the fishing sector and fisheries productions, President Tebboune "welcomed the efforts made by the youth in the field of aquaculture and fisheries productions despite the average capacity, which has allowed to provide fishing resources at affordable prices for the benefit of citizens.

The President of the Republic has called, in this regard, "to ensure that this activity is not cyclical." He further "encouraged companies manufacturing fishing vessels to increase production rates, urging the Ministers of Interior, and Transport, to cooperate to help these companies expand their business in the ports.
