Iran traded 12.63 million tons of goods worth US$7 billion with the six GCC states, namely Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain Saudi Arabia, plus Iraq in the first quarter of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21), latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) show. The UAE was Iran’s top trade partner among countries under review with 5.36 million tons worth US$5.07 billion. It was followed by Iraq with 5.69 million tons worth US$1.86 billion and Kuwait with 1.37 tons worth US$46.56 million.
