Iran, Qatar to Launch 400 Weekly Flights in World Cup: Official


The Secretary of Supreme Council of Free Zones has announced that agreements have been reached between Iran and Qatar on the preparations for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Referring to the preparations for facilitating the transport of tourists between Iran and Qatar, Saied Mohammad said that we have reached an agreement with Qatar to increase the flights between the two countries to 400 flights a week. “Two cruise ships have been prepared to transfer passengers between Kish Island and Qatar and another three will be provided during the World Cup,” he told ILNA. He said that a passenger shipping line will be launched between Kish Island and Qatar before the start of the 2022 Qatar World Cup. - ILNA
