IMF Predicts Growth in Oman GDP


Oman’s gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by 5.6% in 2022 and by 2.7% in 2023, said the recent report of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) titled “World Economic Outlook”.

Oman’s current account balance is expected to go up by 5.9% during 2022 and by 5.6% during 2023, reported Oman News Agency (ONA), citing the IMF report. The IMF also indicated that the inflation rate is expected to rise by 3.7% in 2022 and 2.2% in 2023.
