At the invitation of the CEO of SONATRACH, Mr. Toufik HAKKAR, a delegation of top managers from the National Hydrocarbon Company of Mozambique (ENH) led by its CEO, Dr. Estevao PALE, paid a visit to work in Algeria from February 25 to March 02, 2022.This visit is part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between SONATRACH and ENH, to examine the possibilities of cooperation on the entire value chain of hydrocarbons in Mozambique, from exploration and production, to transport, gas liquefaction, petroleum services and training.A visit to the SONATRACH facilities and infrastructures was organized for the benefit of this delegation, at the level of the gas processing facilities and the National Gas Dispatching Center (CNDG) located in Hassi R’Mel, as well as the liquefaction complexes of gas and LPG separation located in the industrial zone of Arzew.The ENH-Mozambique delegation was also invited to follow presentations relating to the infrastructures and educational resources developed by the Algerian Institute of Petroleum (IAP) and by SONATRACH Management Academy (SMA) for the training and development of the company staff.Mr. Estevao PALE and his delegation were received at the headquarters of the General Management of SONATRACH by Mr. Toufik HAKKAR in the presence of senior executives of the Company.During this meeting, the two parties discussed the prospects for cooperation and agreed to work to lay the foundations for a lasting and lasting collaboration.At the conclusion of their talks, SONATRACH and ENH agreed to put in place a roadmap, to materialize their desire for cooperation, in the areas identified.
