Iran's NIORDC Receives Energy Management ISO

The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) succeeded in obtaining the energy management system certificate based on ISO 50001, 2018 edition.

According to NIORDC, out of 10 existing refining companies, 9 refineries have received ISO 50001 certification past years by developing an energy management system.

Persian Gulf Star Oil Company is also planning and carrying out the necessary processes for the establishment and implementation of the energy management system, which is hoped to succeed in obtaining the certificate in the near future.

All 12 regions of the Iran Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company (IOPTC) have received ISO 50001 certificate, and five operating regions of the National Iranian Petroleum Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) have obtained the mentioned certificate. - Shana
