Iraq Opens 2nd Border-Crossing Port with KSA

Iraq announced on 30 September 2021, the opening of Jamima border-crossing port with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for the first time since 1991, according to Alarabiya net.

The move follows the reopening of the Ar’ar border crossing in November 2020 ,which had been closed for 30 years. Saudi Arabia is linked with Iraq by a border strip of more than 830 km.
