Iranian and Tajik officials signed eight documents of cooperation in various fields in the Tajikistan capital of Dushanbe. At the end of the meeting of Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi and officials of Iran with the President and officials of Tajikistan, the two sides signed six memoranda of understanding, an agreement and a technical protocol on electronic exchange of information between the customs services of both countries. In addition, the two presidents issued a joint official statement.The countries signed an Agreement on the Transfer of detainees between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran and a Memorandum of Economic and Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The heads of states signed Memorandum of Cooperation in the areas of tourism, technical and vocational education, social protection, agriculture and sports.Two memorandums of understanding (MoU) were signed between Iran and Tajikistan on Saturday to expand cooperation on social welfare and labor. Iran’s Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare inked an MoU with the Tajik Ministry of Health in the field of rehabilitation, injuries, and social protection. The other one is signed with the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of Tajikistan on the exchange of experience in skills training, labor market policies, health, inspection, and labor relations. - Mehr, News.am, Tehran Times
