A senior official at Khorramshahr Ports and Shipping Organization in the southwestern Province of Khuzestan said on Saturday that passenger's vessels resumed their trips between Khorramshahr and Kuwait Port. According to Nourollah Asadi, director-general of Khorramshahr Ports and Shipping Organization, round-trip between Khorramshahr and Kuwait Port had been halted due to coronavirus outbreak, IRNA reported. He added that the maritime passenger line of Khorramshahr-Kuwait Port is ready to travel on a regular and weekly basis observing maximum health protocols.The Persian Gulf maritime passenger terminal is one of the largest maritime terminals in the country and the region, plays an important role in developing trade between Khorramshahr and other ports in the region. It also is one of the largest maritime passenger terminals in West Asia, with a daily capacity of 1,200 people. - Tehran Times
